WHAT IS STOREHOUSE ASSISTANCE CENTER?
Storehouse Assistance Center or "SAC" exists to offer food assistance to hardworking families and individuals in Fern Park, Casselberry and Seminole County, Florida. These families may be struggling to make ends meet and with the recent downturn in the local economy, may have found themselves unemployed or having more month than money.
That is where we come in. We provide food assistance through discount or free groceries, free bread, and when available, fresh produce. SAC is here to offer hope, offer help and offer our hand!

HOPE...Whether you are a family, individual or single parent, Storehouse Assistance Center (SAC) is able to assist you with your food costs by providing groceries for little to no cost. All we ask is that you have a genuine need and that you are able to give back by volunteering or giving monetary donations when you are financially able. SAC is made possible because we all pitch in together to help one another. By abusing the program, we create undue hardships on others who need a helping hand during difficult times in their lives. Please let your neighbors and co-workers know that groceries are now affordable, in fact they are free!
HELP... We never know for sure what we have until our truck is unloaded, but an average delivery consists of:
*Canned Fruits & Vegetables
*Assorted Coffees & Teas
*Sports Drinks
*Crackers, Granola Bars & Mixed Nuts
*Breakfast Cereals & Oatmeal
*Potato Chips & Assorted Snacks
*Assorted Juices
*Fresh Baked Bread
*Fresh Produce In Season
*Hygiene Products
*Paper Goods
*Dog Food
And Much More!
HANDS... What can I do to help?! That’s a great question, and we are glad you asked! SAC is always needing volunteers on a variety of levels. Everything from unloading trucks to sorting food to bagging groceries for families. In addition we are always searching for people to help us with food procurement. That may mean organizing a food drive at your work place, school or neighborhood and collecting non-perishables for us to distribute or seeking donations from local grocery stores, warehouses or merchants. There are many ways for you to be a part of SAC. As the saying goes, “Many Hands Make Light Work!” High Schoolers can earn service hours at SAC, just ask your HS counselor for a form. If you do not have the time to volunteer, we understand! It is still possible to help SAC through your tax deductible financial contributions. Financial gifts are a blessing for us and help us maintain our budget and meet our freight and transportation costs.

OUR STORY...
Storehouse Assistance Center was founded in 2002 by Will & Juniece Fillingham.
During a financially difficult time in their lives, they were helped by a local church in the Denver, Colorado area who provided them fresh produce and frozen foods on a weekly basis. Will & Juniece were so blessed by the help they received, that they decided to give back in their own way to the families and individuals of their neighborhoods and thus SAC was formed. Will & Juniece moved back to Central Florida in 2004 and immediately began working within the local community by distributing free groceries to the local senior center, sponsoring and implementing summer baseball camps for children of lower income families and stuffing over 1000 backpacks with new school supplies for families who needed an extra hand. 2008 has brought about the opening of the SAC store where groceries are available for free or for low suggested donations. Fresh baked bread is distributed free of charge and fresh produce is available when in season. Will & Juniece and the entire SAC team hope to continue for many years to come, providing hope, help and hands for all those who need a little encouragement!
